1) The boiling point of cryogenic liquid at 101.3KPa pressure is -196℃ for liquid nitrogen, -183℃ for liquid oxygen, and -186℃ for liquid argon. The main function of the micro bulk tank is to fill and store cryogenic liquids. In order to ensure the safe operation of microbulk tank, the dangerous characteristics of gas, low-temperature protection effect, surrounding environment and characteristics of pressure vessel should be considered comprehensively, and corresponding technical management measures should be taken to ensure the safe operation.
The microbulk tank operators should understand the structure and characteristics of the equipment and valve system in detail, be familiar with the dangerous characteristics of cryogenic liquid, strictly control the surrounding environment, and operate according to the microbulk tank safe operation procedures.
The operating personnel shall be trained and examined by the quality and technical supervision department at or above the prefectural level and hold the qualification certificate of pressure vessel operation before they can take up the post. Before operation, operation personnel should do a good job in accordance with the provisions of labor safety protection measures.
When storing cryogenic liquid, the filling rate shall not be greater than 0.95, and excessive filling is strictly prohibited. Before the microbulk tank is put into use, ensure that the container is in good sealed condition, all accessories (including valves, gauges and safety devices) are complete, effective, sensitive and reliable, pipeline materials are properly selected, and the system is dry and free from oil.
During the normal operation of microbulk tank, a special person shall be responsible for the tour inspection. The pressure of the inner container shall not exceed the high working pressure of the storage tank. If it is overpressure, pressure relief measures shall be taken. Check the status and leakage of each valve. If any abnormality or leakage is found, measures should be taken in time to correct the abnormality properly.
Check the vacuum degree in the jacket of microbulk tank periodically. If the vacuum degree deteriorates, take the measure of supplementary vacuuming.
